Who is Christa McDonald?

Christa McDonald is a Bereavement Coach, Usui Reiki Master, Certified Death Doula, and Life Coach who has spent over two decades guiding families through the sacred process of end-of-life transition and healing after loss.
Her work is deeply personal. Born into hardship, Christa grew up learning resilience through pain. Her father was declared mentally ill when she was just five, and her stepfather whom she adored passed away in April 2025. These experiences shaped her belief that grief doesn’t mean letting go it means finding new ways to stay connected.
From volunteering in nursing homes at age 11 to supporting countless families in hospice care, Christa’s life has been a living mission: to help people die in peace and help the living rediscover life.
She believes that healing begins when we stop resisting grief and start honoring it when we allow both tears and laughter to coexist, and when we remember that love doesn’t end; it simply transforms.
